La Hire II

Carefully, slowly  La Hire II slides into the meanders of the Gaves and the Adour river, leaving  to their passenger all the leisure of discover the landscape and its banks.
 

La Hire II is a nice boat of fluvial cruise, very comfortable and particulary quiet. Its wide, soundproofed and  ventilated  living-room that have broad picture windows, equiped with a convivial bar, allows to benefit from a panoramic navigation, in ideal conditions of comforts. the boat is endowed  too with a little beach outside forward
 

From a point of view comfort, an equiped kitchen that looks out onto the living room allows the service of the hot meals; the boat is equiped too with toilets;
 

La Hire II is accessible to  passengers with reduced agility ( except toilets and beach forward).

Characteristic Boat of de Adour river, the sailing barges was used for the transport of goods between the port of Bayonne and those located upstream from the river, inside the land.
 

They 're characterized by a relatively flat bottom that allow them, incluse by a weak tirant d'eau, to transport heavy things.

Equiped now for the transport of passengers, the sailing barges is ideal to discover in small group ( 12 maximum) the close Gaves.
